Ex-khokim of Yunusabad district Bakhtiyor Abdusamatov sentenced to five years in prison

The Tashkent city court on criminal proceedings has completed the trial of the defendant Bakhtiyor Abdusamatov (former khokim of Yunusabad district).

The criminal case was chaired by the judge of the Tashkent city court on criminal proceedings Zafar Nurmatov, Kun.uz correspondent reports.

The defendant B. Abdusamatov was accused of committing offenses under Articles 205 (abusive power or abuse of authority) and 210 (bribery) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.

Reportedly, the court found Bakhtiyor Abdusamatov guilty of Article 205 (abusive power or abuse of power). He was sentenced to five years in prison.
