Saida Mirziyoyeva speaks about problems at schools in Uzbekistan
Saida Mirziyoyeva, recently appointed to the post of deputy director of the country's Information and Mass Communications Agency, identified the main problems of schools based on the survey conducted among citizens of Uzbekistan.
“Today I want to sum up the first results of our communication with you. In the previous post, we discussed the role of the school in implementing the five initiatives put forward by the president to bring up a harmoniously developed generation in the spirit of national values and humanism,” Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote on her Facebook page.
Following the comments, the most alarming problems have become:
1. Unsatisfactory state of rural schools
2. Forced labor for schoolchildren and teachers
3. Insufficient number of qualified teachers and excessive workload of their reporting documents
4. Lack of subjects that develop the individual talents of each child
5. Problem with computer classes and the Internet
According to her, questions about cell phones in the classroom, school uniform, legal literacy of pupils and free football fields have not been ignored.
“I want to thank everyone for helping us determine the range of the most pressing issues. Relevant ministries are already engaged in solving these problems. Here I would like to note that the solution of such important issues for society will require certain time, resources, expert discussion, preparation of the necessary documentation and of course, active participation and a little initiative from each of us,” deputy director of the Agency added.
