Uzbekistan intends to host the annual meeting of the IDB’s Board of Governors, follows from a government decree.
As part of the action plan to expand cooperation with the bank, it is planned to work out the issue of organizing the IDB Board of Governors’ annual meeting in Uzbekistan.
The IDB mission will visit Uzbekistan this year to study the country’s potential for holding the meeting of the council. In the future, it is expected that proposals will be made on the date and place of the event.
The document also states that by the end of the month Uzbekistan plans to approve a list of promising investment projects proposed for joint implementation with the IDB in 2019-2021 as part of the Partnership Strategy.
