Young Uzbek man, killing a compatriot migrant lady, detained in St. Petersburg

The Leningrad police department detected a man suspected of killing a woman from Uzbekistan. He turned out to be a compatriot of the deceased woman. Mutual scandal caused the tragedy.

According to St. Petersburg media reports, in mid-May, corpse of a woman was found in a trench near the Murmansk highway in Sinyavino-1. The woman's compatriot is suspected of killing her. 

Reportedly, the woman was 42 years old and the culprit was 24. According to the preliminary investigation results, on the evening of May 2, they spent time together at a house in Prajskaya Street in St. Petersburg. There was a conflict between these two and the situation ended with tragedy.

The women was taken to a forest and hit to death with a stick. Struck traces were mainly recorded in the head.

The Leningrad Oblast Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case on the fact of murder. The suspect has been detained.
