By government decree, Khotamjon Ketmonov was appointed first deputy head of the State Inspectorate for supervision of quality in education under the Cabinet of Ministers. This is reported in the telegram channel of the Ministry of Justice.
It should be recalled that the other day Ketmonov resigned as Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (PDPU). The new head of the party was appointed the rector of Namangan State University Ulugbek Inoyatov, the former Minister of Public Education.
Khotamjon Ketmonov has led the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan since 2013. In March 2015 and in 2016 he was a presidential candidate. He is also the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis.
