Participants from 47 countries to attend Tashkent investment forum in October

The Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov held a working session on preparations for the first meeting of the organizing Committee for the Tashkent international investment forum, with participation of leaders and representatives of ministries, departments and organizations involved.
During the meeting, the aspects of organizing this event were discussed. According to the Ministry, 1,700 participants from 47 countries are expected to attend: representatives of foreign governments, heads of transnational corporations, heads of international financial institutions and banks, experts in the field of economics, investment, finance and technology, representatives of foreign media will all gather in Tashkent on the forum platform in October of the current year.
As part of the development of the forum concept, constructive opinions and recommendations of the meeting participants were heard and taken into consideration, existing alternatives for resolving specific issues were considered, including the choice of location of events from among the available options, formation of a business program, determining the format of related cultural events, building a PR strategy, ensuring digital information support for participants and visitors to the forum.
Following the meeting, a medium-term action program was developed, a working group was formed to promptly address the current issues. And also the issues to be discussed at the meeting of the organizing committee were identified.
