Scammers deceiving a local man for $673,000 detained in Namangan

In the Uchkurgan district of the Namangan region, three brothers deceived a local man for $673,000.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the Uchkurgan district of the Namangan region, in September 2018, three brothers assured a local resident that they would bring 1,500 heads of cattle from the Russian Federation. For this, they received from the man $135,000, the remaining $538,000 was credited to a bank account. The total amount was $673,000.

In this case, the men did not fulfill the promise, and spent the money on their needs. As a result of the measures taken, the three brothers were detained.

Reportedly, a criminal case has been initiated against the scammers. An investigation is underway.
