A man and a woman tried to sell 10-day-old child for $1,000 in Kashkadarya

In the Kashkadarya region, law enforcement officers detained a man and a woman who wanted to sell a 10-day-old child, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

On June 15, in Karshi, law enforcement officers detained a woman, 24, who, in collusion with a 28-year-old man, tried to sell a 10-day-old child for $1,000.

Reportedly, a criminal case has been initiated against the detainees. An investigation is underway.
