Third trial on “Akhmadboy’s case” being held in Tashkent region
In the Tashkent region, a third open trial is being held at the Kuyichirchik district court on criminal proceedings to consider the case against the defendant Akhmad Tursunbayev and others (16 people in total).
The trial is presided by a judge of the Tashkent regional criminal court Kh. Shermukhamedov.
Defendants A. Tursunbayev and others are accused of committing a crime under Article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
Currently, an investigation is underway. To date, about 90 persons out of more than 170 victims have been interviewed.
The court trial continues. The next court session will be held on July 3.
