Retired woman, 72, to sit state exam for admission to universities
In the Fergana region, a 72-year-old pensioner submitted documents for admission to three universities. The State Testing Center reports about this.
According to representatives of the State Testing Center, a resident of Fergana graduated from a cooperative technical school in 1973. Now she applied for full-time studies at the Uzbek language and literature faculty of the Fergana State University, Kokand Pedagogical Institute and Namangan State University.
It should be recalled that in 2019, in Uzbekistan, age restrictions have been removed for those who want to get a higher education. In addition, this year applicants are allowed to submit documents to three universities at a time, in order to increase chances of admission.
