Main directorate of the Interior Ministry, its territorial divisions transferred to the National Guard
On July 3, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the regulation on security service of the National Guard of Uzbekistan.
According to the document, the main security department of the Ministry of Interior and its territorial divisions are transferred to the National Guard.
In accordance with the regulation, the main task of the security service is to ensure protection of state objects, especially important, categorized and other objects, property of individuals and legal entities on a contractual basis.
The price of security services for organizations, financed from the state budget, is set independently by the commander of the National Guard in coordination with the Ministry of Finance.
The regulation defines the duties and rights of the security service, organization of work orders and responsibility of employees.
In particular, a security officer is a representative of the state body and is under state protection.
A security officer on duty obeys only to the immediate superior (commander) and the responsible duty officer.
