New gas field discovered in Andijan (video)

In Andijan, a new gas field “Chakar” was discovered. The press service of JSC Uzbekneftegaz reported about it.

“Chakar” deposit is located in the Bulakbashi district of the Andijan region. In March of this year, experts began drilling at the well No.2.

On July 10, the first natural gas stream was extracted at a depth of 1,710 meters. Its flow rate is up to 300,000 cubic meters per day.

In the near future it is planned to explore gas condensate, define the parameters of the components, as well as start drilling of two other wells.
