The President of Uzbekistan signed a decree “On measures to create a TV channel “O‘zbekiston tarixi”.
According to the document, from September 1 of the current year, new television channel “O‘zbekiston tarixi” will be launched.
The main task of the channel, as defined in the document, is to widely inform the population and foreign audience about the ancient and rich history of Uzbekistan, enormous scientific, cultural and spiritual contribution of our ancestors to the development of world civilization.
The Academy of Sciences of the Republic has been instructed to provide the TV channel on an ongoing basis with assistance in the preparation of broadcast materials, including by reviewing them for authenticity and relevance to historical events and facts.
