Uzbekistan, India discuss measures on strengthening bilateral cooperation in counter-terrorism
The 8th meeting of Uzbekistan – India joint working group on combating terrorism was held in Delhi, the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.
During the meeting, measures on strengthening bilateral cooperation in counter-terrorism through exchange of information and best practices were discussed. The parties also exchanged views on effective methods of combating radicalization and preventing the use of Internet for terrorist purposes.
The issues of cooperation in multilateral formats, including the UN, the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure and the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism were also considered during the talks.
The parties agreed to hold the next meeting in Uzbekistan.
