Uzbekistan plans to prepare Uzavtosanoat companies for an IPO
The President signed a decree on additional measures to accelerate the development of the automotive industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Among the main tasks identified in the document until 2023, the need to nominate the companies of Uzavtosanoat for an IPO is noted.
It is also planned to develop a Strategy for further accelerated development of the automotive industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2023.
Non-core assets of JSC Uzavtosanoat and the enterprises included in its structure can be sold without an assessment of their value and put up for auction on the electronic trading platform E-IJRO AUKSION at a starting price equal to their book value, taking into account the VAT (for real estate) and actual value (for shares and equity stakes in business entities).
