New demolition mechanism to be introduced
From August 5, Uzbekistan will introduce a new mechanism for demolition of buildings in three stages.
Today, August 2, under the chairmanship of the President of Uzbekistan, a video-conference meeting was held to analyze the ongoing work on the development of small business and entrepreneurship.
During the event, it became known that starting from August 5 this year, Uzbekistan will introduce a new mechanism for the demolition of buildings in three stages.
At the first stage, administration at places will submit materials to the Cabinet of Ministers about the objects that need to be demolished.
At the second stage, a conclusion will be made: according to the requirements of urban planning - by the first deputy prime minister, for financial calculations - by the deputy prime minister.
Finally, these conclusions will be submitted to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval.
It should be recalled that at a meeting held on July 23, it was indicated that the demolition of property and the seizure of land from entrepreneurs without payment of compensation is absolutely unacceptable.
Then the head of state noted the need for the formation of a republican working group, headed by the deputy prime minister, who would have to study the damage done to entrepreneurs on the spot and compensate it at market value.
