Taliban delegation arrives in Tashkent

A Taliban delegation led by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar arrived in Uzbekistan, a Kun.uz source said.

The delegation was met at the airport by the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev.

Today, August 8, the delegation visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Tomorrow, they plan to meet with representatives of the Interior Ministry.

The press services of the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have not yet commented on the above visit of the Taliban delegation to Uzbekistan.
