India expresses interest in joint investment projects implemented in Uzbekistan
On August 8, 2019, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Dilshod Akhatov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India Santosh Jha, the MFA press service said.
The parties examined the current state of Uzbek-Indian relations and exchanged views on promising areas of cooperation.
During the negotiations, practical aspects of the Indian side’s participation in joint investment projects implemented in Uzbekistan were discussed.
In the conversation, interest was expressed in the participation of representatives of India in the first International Festival of Applied Arts, which will be held in September 2019 in Kokand.
The parties also considered the organization of events at various levels.
