Tanzila Narbayeva meets with Uzbek youth in South Korea 

On August 10, in Seoul, members of Oliy Majlis delegation met with representatives of young people from Uzbekistan, who study and work in the Republic of Korea, the Senate press service reported.

During the meeting, an exchange of views on further development of the country took place, and active participation of young people in the implementation of reforms in Uzbekistan was discussed.

“It was noted that the country has created all the necessary conditions for the harmonious development of youth, realization of their opportunities and interests, free participation in the discussion of the most important issues of the country’s socio-political life. In particular, the youth expressed their readiness to take part in improving the unified platform of public initiatives “mening.fikrim.uz”, using the knowledge and experience gained during the education,” the Senate’s statement reads.

The meeting was held in the form of an open dialogue, everyone shared not only their opinion, but also had the opportunity to ask questions from the Senate Chairperson.

At the end of the meeting, parliamentarians noted the goals of youth policy in the country – implementation of a constant dialogue with youth, taking into account their interests, as well as comprehensive support for students and creative youth.
