Shermatov urges people to actively participate in nationwide hashar

The Minister of Public Education Sherzod Shermatov on his Facebook page called on Uzbek people to participate more actively in the nationwide charity hashar.

It should be recalled that the other day, the government adopted a decree on holding a nationwide charity hashar throughout the republic. According to the decree, August 15-30 in all regions of the country has been declared a month of landscaping and cleanliness. In addition, the decree determines that nationwide charity hashar will be held on August 17-18.

“If the school is clean and comfortable, then our children will try to study well. If there is a mess everywhere, then the situation will worsen,” the Minister said.

He stated that over the years, many problems have been accumulated in the field of education and a lot of money is needed to solve them.

“I think you feel what economic situation we are in right now. We know that the funds allocated to education will not be enough, but at the same time, we cannot sit and wait for money to solve a problem. From September, our children should begin their studies,” Shermatov said.

The Minister urged people to participate more actively in the nationwide hashar.

“Yes, you are not obliged, but in order to create conditions for children, we urge you to do so. It is especially important to prepare the buildings, where repair works and construction of new facilities have recently been completed,” he concluded.
