Khokim of Andijan city to be fired

Khokim of the city of Andijan Dilmurod Rakhmatullayev will be sacked.

According to a Kun.uz source, on August 26, at a meeting with participation of the regional khokim of Andijan, Rakhmatullayev will be relieved of his post and the new khokim of the city will be announced.

For information, Dilmurod Rakhmatullayev has been working as the khokim of the city since 2016.

He became popular on the Internet in the fall of 2017, after a series of audio recordings, in which he harshly insulted a number of heads of educational institutions in the Andijan city, were disseminated.

It should be recalled that Dilmurod Rakhmatullayev, during a video-conference meeting with participation of the Prime Minister in April 2018, was warned and reprimanded for the last time as he forced employees of budgetary organizations and preschool education institutions to buy flowers and trees from businessmen at a high price.
