Uzbekistan, India to further strengthen trade-economic cooperation
Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade hosted the first meeting of the Uzbek-Indian Committee on coordination and practical implementation of bilateral projects, the press service of the ministry said.
The event was attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India Farhod Arziev, the heads of ministries and departments that are part of the Committee, as well as senior officials of the ministry and representatives of the Andijan region administration.
During the talks, the prospects of projects that are being implemented in Uzbekistan together with leading Indian companies, in particular the ones being realized in the territory of the Andijan-Farm Free Economic Zone, have been thoroughly analyzed.
The parties considered proposals for further development of bilateral relations, strengthening cooperation in trade and investment spheres.
Specific measures to achieve the goals set were considered in detail.
