Abdulaziz Kamilov receives Ambassador of Iran, completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan
Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Bahman Agharazi Dormani, completing his diplomatic mission in our country.
According to the ministerial press service, Kamilov, welcoming the Ambassador, congratulated him on the successful completion of four years of activity in Uzbekistan, which was productive and served to strengthen and expand the Uzbek-Iranian relations.
Trade, economic, investment ties as well as cultural and humanitarian exchanges intensified during these four years.
In January-June of this year, bilateral trade amounted to $213.8 million, which is almost 40% more than the same period in 2018.
The Ambassador, for his part, expressed appreciation for the favorable conditions created for the successful fulfillment of his mission in Uzbekistan.
