UAE experience to be used in the complex development of Uzbekistan until 2030
An official visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the United Arab Emirates on March 24-28 of this year has opened new directions of cooperation with this country in various fields.
As a logical continuation of the visit, the President also approved the “Roadmap” for implementation of priorities with the UAE.
Today, Uzbekistan is also exploring the Emirati experience in working out its medium and long-term development strategy.
In this regard, a presentation of the UAE Development Program representative Hessa Ghaffari was held at the Ministry of Economy and Industry within the framework of the roundtable “Concept of socio-economic development of Uzbekistan until 2030”.
“The UAE aims to be among the best countries in the world by 2021. The government, through the development program worked out for the country, aims to achieve high living standards in a stable environment and a well-meaning society,” Ms. Ghaffari said.
Reportedly, the UAE is trying to implement various reforms in the country. For example, it is envisaged that reforms and innovations to improve public knowledge will have an impact on the efficiency of the economy. Besides, it is intended to improve the quality of life through a sustainable environment.
With regard to fair trial, the country relies on its enhanced security function and always strives to ensure that everyone can count on and benefit from justice.
Ms. Ghaffari said that the UAE is working with the government health sector on a regular basis to improve medical services at public and private hospitals.
A variety of reform programs have been developed in the country to improve the national education system, focus on higher education and qualification, national investment policy, industry and recruitment policies, energy policy, water supply and future food security.
Uzbekistan, in its development concept, can also study the above Emirati experience and adapt some of it to the conditions of the country.
