Nearly 40% of the Intellectual Property Agency staff found unsuitable for their posts

In accordance with the requirements of the presidential decree PQ-4380 of July 1, 2019 “On measures to organize the activities of the Agency for Intellectual Property under the Ministry of Justice”, employees of the Agency sat an extraordinary qualification test on August 14-16.

As the Ministry of Justice says, according to the relevant decision of the Certification Commission, 59 employees of the Intellectual Property Agency attended the exam, of which 26 (44%) were “suitable” for their positions, 5 (8.4%) - “conditionally suitable”, 23 (38.9%) - failed to pass the test. In addition, 5 (8.4%) of them were interviewed as they have been working for less than six months in their posts. They were given relevant instructions and recommendations regarding their future activities.

At present, measures are being taken to replenish personnel of the Intellectual Property Agency with highly qualified and experienced employees.
