Shavkat Mirziyoyev lays flowers at the Monument of Independence and Humanism

Celebrations on the occasion of the twenty-eighth anniversary of state independence of Uzbekistan has started.

On August 31, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Mustaqillik Square and laid flowers at the Monument of Independence and Humanism.

Representatives of the Senate and the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, the Cabinet of Ministers and ministries also attended the ceremony and laid flowers at the foot of the memorial.

In the capital, the central festive event will be held today at the Palace of International Forums “Uzbekistan”.
