Tashkent’s Humo Arena multifunctional complex to host 2019 Judo Grand Prix
From September 20 to September 22, Tashkent will host the 2019 Judo Grand Prix, the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Uzbekistan said.
The competitions will be attended by 530 athletes from 75 countries – 277 men, 253 women.
It should be noted that a few months earlier, representatives of the International Judo Federation visited the multifunctional Humo Arena ice complex in Tashkent. Now it has been officially confirmed that the Grand Prix competitions will be held in this complex.
The Tashkent Judo Grand Prix is one of the major tournaments during which rating points will be earned for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The winners of gold, silver and bronze medals will receive 700, 490, 350 rating points respectively.
