Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulates President of Brazil on Independence Day

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has congratulated the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Jair Messias Bolsonaro, on Independence Day, the presidential press service said.

The Independence Day of Brazil is a national holiday observed in the country on September 7 every year. The date celebrates Brazil’s Declaration of Independence from the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and the Algarves in 1822.

For information, Uzbekistan and Brazil established diplomatic relations on April 30, 1993 through exchange of notes.
