The Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis approved the candidacy of Nozim Khusanov for the post of Minister of Employment and Labor Relations. He will take office after a relevant decree is signed by the President.
According to the current legislation, the candidacy of ministers is first considered and approved by the deputies of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis.
Khusanov previously worked as a khokim of the Sergeli district, Tashkent. In the current post, he replaces Sherzod Kudbiyev, who headed the ministry from April 2018 to August 2019.
It should be recalled that with a relevant decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed on August 29, Sherzod Kudbiyev was appointed a presidential adviser.
