Shavkat Mirziyoyev: There are changes, but we are barely happy with them to the fullest
In the Kokand Museum of Great Thinkers, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with public figures of the Fergana region, representatives of the senior generation and intelligentsia. In Uzbekistan, significant emphasis is placed on the veneration and promotion of national values, the study of the legacy of great ancestors. International festivals of the arts of bakhshi and makom have been held in our country. The Imam Bukhari and Imam Termizi centers, Mirzo Ulugbek and Muhammad Khorezmi schools of gifted children have been established across the republic. Presidential schools as well as new higher education institutions are to create even greater opportunities for young people, the report says.
“Time flies by at a great speed. We are in search in every sphere, we are in constant movement. There are changes, but we are barely happy with them to the fullest,” the President said.
Participants noted with satisfaction that in Kokand, like throughout the Fergana region, extensive creative and construction works are underway today, and thanks to the International Festival of Folk Applied Arts, the city has become even more attractive.
The Museum of Great Thinkers was created at the initiative of the head of state. Its visitors are able to get information about the life and work of writers and scientists who lived in Kokand.
