Bakhodir Jalolov visits American Richard Torrez, who was carried out in stretcher after their fight (video)

An Uzbek boxer Bakhodir Jalolov visited American Richard Torrez, whom he knocked out in a bout that took place within the framework of AIBA world championship in Russia.

The Uzbek athlete said the followings on his Instagram:

“We are rivals only in the ring, but beyond it – we are brothers and colleagues,” Jalolov wrote.

It should be recalled that highly-touted American starlet Richard Torrez was taken out of the ring on a stretcher after a vicious left hook by Bakhodir Jalolov.

Southpaw Jalolov took less than one round to put his 20-year-old opponent on the canvas, and the World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman expressed his anger that the bout took place.
