Uzbekistan to launch “Transparent Construction” information system

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on measures for the widespread introduction of information and communication technologies in the construction sector.

In order to eliminate corruption and bureaucratic obstacles in the field of construction, to ensure transparency of all stages of the construction process for the public through the widespread introduction of information and communication technologies, the proposal to launch the “Transparent Construction” National Information System by June 1, 2020, as an experiment in the Tashkent region, was approved.

Functioning of the system should be ensured by January 1, 2021 throughout the territory of Uzbekistan in real-time.

In addition, before March 1, 2020, the Geographic Information System (geoportal) “State Urban Planning Cadastre of the Republic of Uzbekistan” will be launched in test mode with the possibility of maintaining the state urban planning cadastre and providing the public with urban planning documents and information online.
