Price of AI-91 gasoline remains unchanged, gold price goes up
According to the results of exchange trades at UZEX on September 16-20, 2019, 3221,8 tons of AI-91 petrol was put up for sale, of which 3062.8 tons was sold. The tariff for AI-91 petrol in the past week has not changed compared to the previous week and amounted to 6452.7 thousand soums per ton.
Last week, liquefied gas producers sold 6798.0 tons of liquefied gas worth 22.0 billion soums through exchange trades. The price of gas on the exchange decreased by 20.3% compared to the previous week and amounted to 3257.0 thousand soums per ton.
Gold prices have risen due to the initial price increase. At the end of the auction, 100 grams of Au-1 gold worth 45.5 million soums were sold at the Uzbek Commodity Exchange. The quotes of the exchange increased by 0.3%, or up to 454.5 thousand soums for 1 gram of gold.
During the period under review, demand for cotton fiber remained relatively high on the exchange. Last week, the prices for cotton fiber of 1st grade (middle class) rose by 4.1% and amounted to 13.2 million soums per ton. Prices for other types of cotton fiber ranged from 9.6 million to 14.0 million soums.
