MFA: No citizen of Uzbekistan injured in Istanbul earthquake
There are no citizens of Uzbekistan among the victims of the powerful earthquake that hit Istanbul on September 26, the MFA press service reports.
“The Consulate General of our country in Istanbul (Turkey) reported that there are no citizens of Uzbekistan among the victims of the September 26 earthquake. The Consulate General is working in a normal mode,” the report said.
The Consular Law Department reminds that citizens of Uzbekistan, located in Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania, if necessary, can contact the Consulate General of our country in Istanbul by phone: +90 212-323-20-37, +90 212-229- 00-75.
It should be recalled that an earthquake of magnitude 5.8 was recorded on Thursday in Istanbul. Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority said in a statement that the quake struck in the Sea of Marmara at 13:59 pm (10:59 GMT) at 6.9 kilometers below ground.
