In total, 18 state multidisciplinary specialized kindergartens for children with physical or mental disabilities will be organized. Also, 31 general type of nurseries will be reorganized.
“First of all, this step will improve the conditions for children who have physical or mental disabilities and need special pedagogical correctional assistance and rehabilitation,” the ministry said.
Reportedly, a comprehensive audit conducted by the Ministry of Preschool Education together with the Health Ministry showed that from 70% to 94% of pupils of a number of specialized kindergartens are healthy and must be transferred to general preschool educational institutions.
The first stage of the transformation of specialized preschool educational organizations into multidisciplinary specialized preschool educational organizations will be held in Tashkent.
At the second stage, multidisciplinary specialized kindergartens with the possibility of comprehensive rehabilitation in other regions of the republic will be created.
