Antimonopoly Committee reveals the number of natural monopoly entities in Uzbekistan

As of October 2019, there are 137 natural monopoly entities in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Antimonopoly Committee of Uzbekistan.
Compared to 2018, the number of natural monopoly entities in the country decreased by three units. At the end of last year in Uzbekistan, there were 140 of them.
The State Register of Natural Monopoly Entities is a single database for storing information on natural monopoly entities in paper and electronic form.
Business entities in which the production (sale) of goods in a natural monopoly is not the main activity are included in the Register on the following special conditions:
- when the population and/or budget organizations are the end consumers of goods of natural monopolies;
- when the volume of goods of natural monopolies delivered to consumers exceeds 10% of the volume of production of these goods;
- when the volume of goods of natural monopolies sold to consumers is at least 10% of the purchased goods.
