Deadline for development of a new concept of Tashkent's master plan extended
The concept of a new master plan of Tashkent will be developed and presented in 2020. This was reported by the deputy khokim of Tashkent Davron Khidoyatov during a plenary session of the Senate, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
“The master plan of the capital was developed in 2013, but it was not approved. Last year, we made sure that the plan was already outdated. We have attracted specialists from Turkey, and they are working on a new plan,” he said.
Davron Khidoyatov said that “development of a master plan cannot be completed within a day”.
“This is impossible to do in one day. For example, the master plan of Moscow or Kazan was developed within 5-8 years. In 2020, we will show the concept of a new master plan,” the deputy khokim said.
It should be recalled that development of the master plan of Tashkent with participation of foreign companies was provided for in the decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in August 2018.
Earlier, the Tashkent city administration reported that the concept of a new master plan of Tashkent would be developed before the end of May 2019.
