Gold accounts for almost 30% of Uzbekistan’s total export
Uzbekistan exported gold for $3.98 billion in January-September this year. This is evidenced by the State Statistics Committee data.

Reportedly, the share of gold in total export was 29.1%. This is almost 2.6 times more than in the same period last year.
Services (18.6% - $2.54 billion) occupied the second place, energy and oil products (16.1% - $2.20 billion) - the third.
In addition, during the period under review, Uzbekistan exported textile products for $1.17 billion, foodstuffs for $1.14 billion, non-ferrous metals for $706.6 million and chemical products and goods for $675.2 million.
