In the Namangan region, a woman died at pre-trial detention center No.6, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.
Reportedly, according to the court verdict, a 43-year-old woman was found guilty under Article 168 (fraud) and other Articles of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
“On October 22, she wrote a statement of appeal in the pre-trial detention center No.6 under the Namangan Regional Internal Affairs Department. At that moment, her health deteriorated sharply. Despite the medical assistance provided, she died,” the PGO said.
Results of the preliminary examination showed that the woman had heart problems. Currently, the Namangan district prosecutor’s office is conducting a preliminary investigation on the case.
