Marijuana trafficker detained in Surkhandarya
In the Surkhandarya region, employees of the Department for Safe Tourism under the Interior Ministry prevented the sale of drugs on a large scale, the ministerial press service said.

In the Denau district, a man tried to sell marijuana with a net weight of 732.49 grams for $8,000.
For convenience, the citizen prudently placed drugs in 200 matchboxes.

It turned out that the detainee was previously convicted for the cultivation of banned plants.
During a search of his house, another 3.34 grams of marijuana was also discovered.

Reportedly, the offender bought drugs from another resident of the Denau district. While checking his house, drugs with a weight of 194.09 grams were found.
Criminal cases have been instituted against both citizens. An investigation is underway.
