UZEX: The prices of gasoline and gold keep declining
As a result of exchange trades held on November 4-10, 2019, the dynamics of prices in different commodity segments of the exchange market was formed in different directions.
During the period under review, 3898,5 tons of AI-91 petrol were put up for trading, of which 2906,5 tons were sold. Over the last trading week, quotes for AI-91 petrol dropped by 0.4% compared to the previous week and amounted to 6,236,800 soums per ton.
Last week, liquefied gas producers sold 4544,0 tons of gas worth $11.8 billion through the exchange. The price of gas at the stock exchange decreased by 4.6% compared to the previous week and amounted to 2596,900 soums per ton.
Gold prices indicate a slight decline, as the last trading week’s stock quotes made up 453,000 soums per 1 gram of gold. According to the results of weekly trading, 600 grams of Au-1 gold worth 271.9 million soums were sold at the Uzbek Commodity Exchange. JSC Almalyk MMC acted as the seller.
The stock exchange maintains a high demand for cotton fiber. Last week, the prices for cotton fiber of 1st grade (ordinary class) rose by 7.5% and amounted to 13.5 million soums per ton. Prices for other types of cotton fiber increased from 7.3 million soums to 13.0 million soums.
