Storm warning announced at Kamchik pass, heavy snowfall is expected

The Centre of Hydrometeorological Service at the Cabinet of Ministers (Uzhydromet) issued a storm warning in the area of the Kamchik pass. According to the Centre, heavy precipitation is expected in the pass in the coming days.

“From November 21 to 25, in the area of the Kamchik pass (A-373 Tashkent-Osh highway), heavy snow is expected. Dense fog may cause visibility to deteriorate to 50 meters,” the report said.

Winds are forecast to increase through the day to 17-22 m.p.h. The temperature is expected to drop to -3-5° C on November 21-23 and -8-13° C – on November 24-25.
