Shavkat Mirziyoyev signs a decree on supporting entrepreneurship in the country

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on measures to further improve the business environment and the system of supporting entrepreneurship in the country.
The document notes that the initiation of questions on the revision and cancellation of the results of denationalization and privatization, including the assessment results of the value of objects by state, is considered as violation of the private property rights, “such cases are not accepted for consideration”.
The head of state instructed “to strictly warn the leaders of all levels of government and administration” about unconditional compliance with the requirements of Article 53 of the Constitution, as well as the Law “On protection of private property and guarantees of owners’ rights”.
The Prosecutor General’s Office was entrusted with strengthening supervision of strict observance of legislation on the protection of private property and guarantees of the rights of owners, ensuring the inevitability of liability, including prosecuting officials of authorized state bodies for initiating a review and cancellation of the results of denationalization and privatization.
