Uzbekistan to raise excise tax rates on gasoline and diesel fuel
On December 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020”.
In accordance with the document, from April 1, 2020, excise tax rates on gasoline, diesel fuel and liquefied gas for end consumers will increase by 22.8%, and compressed gas by 14.9%.
It should be noted that the end consumers are legal entities and individuals who purchase gasoline, diesel fuel and gas for their own needs.
In addition, in 2020, excise tax rates on alcohol and tobacco will double.
