A bus carrying 50 citizens of Uzbekistan almost froze in Aktobe region of Kazakhstan
In the Aktobe region, a bus carrying foreigners broke on the Samara – Shymkent highway, Tengrinews.kz reports.
According to police, the rear suspension of the bus was broken, some welding work was required. In total, there were 54 passengers in the bus – 50 citizens of Uzbekistan, 4 citizens of Tajikistan. The bus was running from the Russian city of Perm to Uzbekistan.
Due to the breakdown, the transport stood on the highway for several hours, people began to freeze in a cold cabin. Police officers took all passengers to the nearest gas station, where there is a cafeteria. All passengers were served hot tea. Then the police found a welding machine and helped fix the problem.
The ill-fated bus, having moved several hundred kilometers, broke down again in the Irgiz district. The police squad, together with the Emergency Situations Department staff, helped. The bus with passengers was brought to the campsite. They helped to repair and escorted to the border of the Kyzylorda region.
