New faculty opens at higher education institutions of Uzbekistan 

The draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on the phased implementation of the subject “Education” at secondary public schools was submitted for discussion.

Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of Uzbekistan makes appropriate changes and additions to the curricula, programs and qualification requirements of the 2019-2020 graduates in the following faculties: “Primary Education”, “History”, “Uzbek Philology”, “National Idea, Fundamentals of Spirituality and Law Education”, “Pedagogy and Psychology”, which give the right to teach the new subject.

Besides, the ministry takes measures to create the “Training and Law Education” faculty instead of the “National Idea, Fundamentals of Spirituality and Law Education” in higher education institutions that train teachers from the 2020-2021 academic year.

Also, together with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Justice, other interested ministries and departments, it makes proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers on amendments and additions to the legislation arising from this decision.
