Warning of storm: Heavy snow expected at Kamchik pass

On December 21-22, heavy snow is expected in the area of the Kamchik pass (A-373 Tashkent-Osh highway), Uzhydromet reported. 

Weather forecasters predict fog with a deterioration in visibility of up to 50 m and wind amplification up to 18-23 m/s. A warning of storm has been announced in this regard. Snow drifts and icy conditions are expected on the road.

On December 19-23, an avalanche may occur in the mountainous regions of the republic. Avalanche danger was also declared from 08:00 on December 19 till 08:00 on December 20 at the Chimgan tract.
