Mild earthquake hits Uzbekistan
Today, December 20, the earthquake which jolted Afghanistan was felt in all regions of Uzbekistan.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the quake occurred at 4:39 pm, 524 kilometers south of Tashkent.
The magnitude of the earthquake was 6.5 and the depth was 202 kilometers.
The strength of the earthquake was 4 points in Surkhandarya, 3 points in Tashkent, Namangan, Andijan, Fergana, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, Samarkand, Bukhara, Kashkadarya and Navoi regions, and 2 points in Khorezm and Karakalpakstan.
