Jamshid Khodjayev to meet with Agriculture Ministers of the Netherlands, Poland and Belarus in Berlin
On January 17, the largest international exhibition in the food industry, agriculture and horticulture - International Green Week (IGW-2020), started in Berlin, Germany.
The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Agriculture Jamshid Khodjaev is also attending the event, the ministerial press service reported to Kun.uz.
International Green Week exhibition will showcase world-wide achievements in the food, forestry and timber industry, gardening, livestock and poultry farming.
Specialists from Uzbekistan will be able to demonstrate achievements in the sphere of agriculture, tourism, economic and export potential of the country, as well as Uzbek cuisine.
It will help Uzbekistan establish partnerships with leading companies in the world.
Within the framework of the exhibition, Jamshid Khodjayev will have a number of meetings with the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations Qu Dongyu, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland J. K. Ardanowski, Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality of the Netherlands C. Schouten, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus A. Khotko.
To date, several presentations on agricultural potential of Uzbekistan have been made during the event.
Organizers of the IGW-2020 say that this year’s comprehensive business program is an important tool for establishing mutually beneficial relationships between agricultural producers and buyers around the world.
For information, this international exhibition was first organized in 1926 in Berlin with the support of Messe Berlin GmbH.
