According to the State Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan considerably increased car production in 2019.
In particular, 271,113 passenger cars were manufactured last year in the republic. For comparison, in 2018, 220,667 cars were produced.
The production of trucks also increased from 4,237 units in 2018 to 5,320 in 2019.
In January-December 2019, Uzbekistan produced 200,600 units of automobile engines (in 2018 – 158,800).
The production of tractors in January-December 2019 was 2,022 units (in 2018 - 3,447).
